sutter has loads of potential. i think backstrom is a little overrated due to the fact that he plays on the same line with arguably the greatest player ever. ruutu and larose give me depth. also i dump some salary for free agency

i gave up 3 top 6 players, one of them which is sutter (my best young player), in addition to two 2nd rounders

Backstrom should be untouchable to the Caps. 100+ point players don't grow on trees. If Backstrom does get traded top line talent needs to come back. I don't see the value or any logic to this trade from the Caps perspective.
