To LA: Derick Brassard Rights to Jesse Winchester 3rd 2011
To Ottawa: Brayden Schenn Jarret Stoll
LA feels that Schenn will be close to the same player as Brassard, yet Brassard is more developped. Though Stoll puts up 40-50 pts we were not comfortable with his salary and had no room for him on our roster and if we can resign Winchester then we have a much needed 4th line center.

Ott wins in my opinion.

Ottawa accepts. We're pleased to welcome a blue-chipper in Schenn and though we're sad to see Brassard go, we feel Stoll can play in the short-term to replace his productivity.
