I really think the organization of this league would be much easier if almost all team information was in one place. For example, on one page, each team has their NHL lineup and scratches with the contract of each player along with all their top prospects and draft picks. This way, when trading, you don't need to open 7 tabs to look at all the informtation. I also don't think it's necessary to have AHL rosters if we're going to be posting a top prospects list, as it really just clutters things up.

Agreed with everything. It adds a lot of work when you sign someone to update like 6 thread everytime.

Agreed on all counts. Makes it easier to update your own info, as well as look up others'. If you really want to separate all the info, you can just reply to your own thread. No need to have several threads in several different boards, IMO.

The problem with this is that teams do not fill out all the info if it is in one section. Doing it this way lets me know who fills what out.

Why would they choose to fill it out in 5 sections instead of 1? Just make a rule that all info must be updated in one thread. Also, I really don't want to deal with AHL lineups. NHL lineups and prospects should suffice.

People will have to fill every section out even if they are in one place. Putting them in different places makes it easier on me to keep everything organized.

Like I said, the hassle of updating 5 threads after every thread will actually cause more people to forget to update something or choose not to do it at all.

How is it any harder for you to view one thread to see if everything is there? If anything, it makes it easier for that, too.

It makes it harder because some people will only fill out certain sections. I would have to go through every page to see if they everything is filled out. This way I can see just by looking if it is there.

I will try one but it all has to be filled out. The AHL roster thread stays though.

Why does the AHL roster have to stay? Every prospect that has a shot at the NHL level will be on the top prospects list.

Some depth players under contract will be in the AHL. Not all NHL contributors will be in the NHL at all times.

I have to bring up the AHL rosters again. I feel it is A LOT of work to actually put together an AHL roster, as it is basically a second team. For example, I have about 10 UFA's this year who were on the Phantoms, but it would just be a hassle to get all that together. I suggest that we, perhaps, sign 3 "minor league" players who could fill in for injured players etc on the NHL squad.
Edit: I know there is no perfect way to do this, but I've found that people probably won't update the AHL roster properly and that there will defnitely be unfilled holes in nearly everyone's AHL roster anyway. But, w/e everybody decides on is fine.
